About This Project

SUNY New Paltz LeFevre Hall

New Paltz, NY
LeFevre Hall was the first of the four residence halls in the Hasbrouk Quad at SUNY New Paltz to undergo renovations. The building’s interior will be completely reconfigured and designed to meet LEED Silver standards. The residence hall will feature enhanced suites, a larger student lounge, improved laundry facilities, a computer lab, and a study lounge. Accessibility will also be increased with the installation of a lift to the main floor lounge and an elevator. To reduce energy use, new LED lights will be used throughout the building as well as vacancy sensors in all bedrooms. Additions to the exterior of the building will include an entry addition, pergola, and a bike canopy. Stuart-Lynn provided cost estimation services during the Design Development and Construction Document phases of this project. The estimates included several alternative scopes and were presented in a format approved by State University of New York and the State University Construction Fund.
