Syracuse, NY
Centrally located at the academic center of the Upstate Medical University campus, one of the newest additions, a LEED Silver 6-story building, involves deep foundation systems, structural framing systems and a newplant. Through newly constructed connectors, it will be physically attached to three adjacent buildings namely the Weiskotten Hall Addition which houses the different research facilities, Silverman Hall which houses all health professions programs (except Medical technology) and University Hospital. These existing and occupied buildings will require selective demolition and renovations to accommodate the new connectors. Stuart-Lynn Company assisted the multidisciplinary firm of EwingCole with the development of budgets and estimates from Schematic throughout Construction Documentation phases, including Value Engineering and reconciliation services.
